9 Options To Stay Long Term in Thailand

Thailand is an attractive country for living many reasons said by many foreigners such as, cost of living is very low with good standard of living, enjoy 24 hours convenient life, Variety of foods, Kind people, Foreigner always be honored, easy to start business, great nature, and we believe there are many more reasons for you to stay in Thailand. We therefore offer options for Long Term Stay in Thailand as follows:

Option 1: 1 Year Non “O” Retirement

The applicant whose age is 50 years old and above is able to apply for 1 Year Non “O” Retirement with the following qualification:

Age 50 years old and above
Deposit THB 800,000 in Thai Bank Account or
Having Pension Min THB 65,000 per month (Pension is strictly, other type of income is not applicable)

We can arrange conversion from Tourist or Free Visa to Non “O” Retirement without leaving Thailand if you have remaining days to stay in Thailand not less than 15 days.

We also arrange opening bank account for purpose of application 1 Year Retirement.

Our Fee for 1 Year Retirement is THB 39,500 (Exclusive of VAT), inclusive of Multiple Reentry for 1 Year Permit and government fee.

Option 2: 10 Years Long Term Resident for Wealthy Pensioner (LTR)

The applicant who is interested in applying for 10 Years LTR – Wealthy Pensioner must be qualified to the following criteria:

Age 50 years old and above
Having passive income exceeding USD 80,000 for the past year, passive income means income from rental, pension, interest, dividend, etc.

The process of application takes averagely 45 working days, the applicant can be either in Thailand or overseas during the application process.

Our Fee for 10 Years LTR – Wealthy Pensioner is THB 35,000 (Exclusive of VAT), and government fee which is to be payable upon approval is THB 50,000.

Option 3: 10 Years Long Term Resident for Wealthy Global Citizen (LTR)

The applicant who is interested in applying for 10 Years LTR – Wealthy Global Citizen must be qualified to the following criteria:

Having globally asset of USD 1M
Having income exceeding USD 80,000 for the past 2 years
Invested in Thailand minimum USD 500,000

Investment in Thailand can be in the form of purchasing condominium, lease fee for paid long term lease, government bond.

The process of application takes averagely 45 working days, the applicant can be either in Thailand or overseas during the application process.

Our Fee for 10 Years LTR – Wealthy Global Citizen is THB 35,000 (Exclusive of VAT), and government fee which is to be payable upon approval is THB 50,000.

Option 4: 10 Years Long Term Resident for Work From Thailand Professionals (LTR)

The applicant who is interested in applying for 10 Years LTR – Work From Thailand Professionals must be qualified to the following criteria:

Working for a company which is a listed company or having revenue in the past 3 years exceeding USD 150M
Having income exceeding USD 80,000 for the past 2 years (USD 40,000 is applicable in case of the applicant has Master Degree or above, own intellectual property such as patent, receive series A funding for the startup business.
5 years working experience in related field.

Please note that, the employer must be overseas company only, the employment agreement with the clause that the applicant is allowed to work from Thailand is required.

The process of application takes averagely 45 working days, the applicant can be either in Thailand or overseas during the application process.

Our Fee for 10 Years LTR – Work From Thailand Professionals is THB 38,000 (Exclusive of VAT), and government fee which is to be payable upon approval is THB 50,000.

Option 5: 10 Years Long Term Resident for Highly Skilled Professionals (LTR)

The applicant who is interested in applying for 10 Years LTR – Highly Skilled Professionals must be qualified to the following criteria:

Working for a company in Thailand in the targeted industry business.
Having income exceeding USD 80,000 for the past 2 years (USD 40,000 is applicable in case of the applicant has Master’s Degree or above in Science and Technology
5 years working experience in targeted industry business.

Targeted industry businesses, for example, Next-Generation Automotive Industry, Smart Electronics Industry, Affluent Tourism Industry, Agricultural and Biotechnology Industry, Transportation and logistics industry, Automation and Robotics Industry, Aviation Industry, Biofuels and Biochemicals Industry, Digital Industry, Medical Industry, Defense Industry, Petrochemical and Chemical Industry, International Business Center (IBC)

The process of application takes averagely 45 working days, the applicant can be either in Thailand or overseas during the application process.

Our Fee for 10 Years LTR – Highly Skilled Professionals is THB 38,000 (Exclusive of VAT), and government fee which is to be payable upon approval is THB 50,000.

Option 6: 6 months Permit to Work and Stay For Startup For Foreigners Who Plan to Set Up a Startup Company in Thailand

The applicant who is interested in applying for 6 months permit must be qualified, i.e.

Having a plan to set up a tech startup business in Thailand.
Having solid and reliable business plan
Having education background and/or work experience in the field of business

Targeted industry businesses, for example, Automotive Industry, Electronics Industry, Affluent Tourism Industry, Agricultural, food and Biotechnology Industry, Transportation and logistics industry, Automation and Robotics Industry, Aviation, aerospace and space Industry, Digital Industry, Medical Industry, National Defense Industry, Petrochemical and Chemical Industry, International Business Center (IBC), Alternative Dispute Solution Service, etc.

The process of application takes averagely 45 working days, the applicant can be either in Thailand or overseas during the application process.

Our Fee for 6 months Startup is THB 30,000 (Exclusive of VAT), and government fee which is to be payable upon approval is THB 10,000.

Option 7: Set Up a company in Thailand and make the company qualify for Non “B” Working

The company which is allowed to engage foreign employee must be:

Having fully paid-up registered capital of THB 2,000,000 per one foreigner
Having 4 Thai employees per one foreigner

All of 4 Thai employees must submit monthly withholding tax form and social security properly.

Our Fee for Long-Term Working Permit is THB 36,000 (Exclusive of VAT), and government fee is THB 10,000.

Option 8: Set Up a representative office in Thailand.

A representative office which is allowed to engage foreign employee must be:

Have brought the fund from overseas of THB 2,000,000
Having 1 Thai employee per one foreigner

Our Fee for Long-Term Working Permit is THB 36,000 (Exclusive of VAT), and government fee is THB 10,000.

Option 9: Thailand Privilege or Elite

If you could not be qualified in any of the above options, there is the last option which is Thailand Privilege or Elite, which allow you to stay in Thailand for at least 5 years with the minimum package of THB 600,000
